The conclusion of the two week diet

The first week of the two week diet was a huge success resulting in 5.3Ib’s of weight being lost. So to my utter dismay I found I had gained it all back during the second week! What went wrong?

  • Extra food during last week were two bits of toast and two ryvitas.
  • I’ve not drunk enough water at all.
  • I’ve had reduce sleep due to an ongoing neighbour anti-social issue.
  • Incredible amount of stress.
  • Not enough exercise.
  • And I hate to share this, but I’ve not been to the toilet enough this week.

Blimey, writing this blog post is tough, especially sharing things I’d rather not share. However I’m sharing both the positive and negative of my health efforts, and more importantly I’m not giving up!!

I found last week, my energy levels were seriously low, in fact worryingly low. Next week I am going to have a bottle of water at my desk in the morning, and also start eating more fruit (as part of the diet I was only eating tomatoes).

The eating habits have seriously improved, such as no bowls of cereal late at night. No biscuits with a cuppa and so on. I’ve hugely missed pasta and rice, but had extra salad instead.

As I sit here, I do feel rather down for writing this update. However with the support of my girlfriend, I won’t give up.
