So feel like a giggle, perhaps you’ve not laughed in a while? Are you a bit of a nerd? Even if none of that is true, why not check out two comedy web shows mentioned below anyway.
I’ve watched a few comedy web shows and quite honestly found most to be appalling, but not ‘The Guild’ and ‘ The Legend of Neil’. Both meant for adults and both incredibly funny.
The Guild follows the ‘The Knights of Good’, a world of warcraft guild. Follow them as they bounce from one issue to another, both online and offline. It’s award winning geek heaven and personally I think each season is better than the previous.
The Legend of Neil is all about a chap called….. well Neil! Based on characters from the classic The Legend of Zelda game. He’s transported into the Zelda world. It’s low budget, but so what?! Creative sets, excellent use of locations and more importantly a funny show.
For both of these series you don’t need to know anything about the games. You can easily follow the shows and both have short episodes. Typically ten minutes or so.
Now is the time to catch up on their old episodes before later this year they hopefully produce new seasons. Season 4 of The Guild has just been comissioned and fingers crossed a season three of The Legend of Neil happens.
