Restarting the weight loss efforts

So the battery for the weighing scales was brought, and I stepped upon them… It turns out some of the year’s efforts had been washed away! I am current at a weight, which I probably was around February this year. I will publish a new weight graph sometime in December.

To be honest, I’m not too disappointed, which sounds bizarre, even though I’m almost a stone and half more than I was in July! However I’ve been through a lot, and I’ve not been over-eating too much, but if anything had a serious lack of exercise.

I’m fairly sure I read in Tim Ferris’s 4 Hour Body book, about a chap who primarily weighed himself, as part of his weight-loss efforts, with the belief that by actively monitoring weight, that in turn helped to loss weight. I’m fairly certain there is truth in that assumption, and thus that is what I will do again, as part of my strategy.

I’m in for a very hectic, and at times stressful December, but the road to recovery has begun, and so when I next weigh myself, I hope to have either lost some weight, else held my ground, and then continue to improve my weight loss efforts.

It is a big ask, but if I can lose a stone from now to the end of the year, I will be happy with that result, and that would roughly put me two stone lighter than I was on the 20th Dec 2011. So a tough target ahead, but it is definitely a secondary target to others I’ve currently got, but perhaps achievable all the same, with a few tweaks to my lifestyle.

I will keep you updated.
